The founder of QuanIT, Dr. Ulrich Wurstbauer, brings extensive experience in the fields of quantum physics, quantum computing, and entrepreneurship. With a background in solid-state physics and a passion for innovative technologies, he leads the company with the goal of shaping the future of information technology by leveraging new and emerging computing technologies.

Dr. Ulrich Wurstbauer is a Distinguished Technologist at DXC Technology Company and serves as the global Chief Technologist for Autonomous Driving. In his roles, Dr. Wurstbauer focuses on two main areas: integrating AI-based critical safety functions into the software architecture and design to ensure their successful homologation, and harnessing cutting-edge computing technologies, particularly quantum computing.

As a senior member of the IEEE, Dr. Wurstbauer holds a doctorate in physics from the University of Regensburg and has completed post-doctoral studies at Columbia University in the City of New York. His research included experiments on the atomically thin quantum material graphene, which laid the foundation for the quantum technological aspects he is now applying to quantum computing.

Dr. Wurstbauer has authored more than a dozen research papers, filed four national and international patent applications, and co-authored several thought leadership blogs.
